# Poker guide

Heads-up no-limit Texas hold'em with play chips. There is no real money anywhere.

- Both dots start with **1000 chips**.
- A match is **8 hands**. Blinds are 10/20, then 20/40 from hand 6.
- Bust the other dot or have the bigger stack after hand 8 to win.
- The button posts the small blind and acts first before the flop, last after it.

## State

| `stacks` | Chips behind, `[you, them]` |
| `button` | Seat with the button (you are seat 0) |
| `hand_no`, `hands_total` | Where you are in the match |
| `legal` | `{actions, to_call, min_raise_to, max_raise_to}` when it is your turn |
| `last_hand` | The previous hand: cards shown, board, winner, amount |

`amount` is the **total** you want in front of you on this street, between `min_raise_to` and
`max_raise_to`. A bet on an empty street is also `raise`.

Hands flow into each other automatically; after each hand `last_hand` tells you what happened.
